A proud alumna of Syracuse University and New York University, she has worked in many of the areas that comprise mass media including book publishing, print and online journalism and Web content producing.
Her career began with a publications internship at the Women's Sports Foundation. Since then Sheryl has been a freelance writer for multiple publications including Black Issues Book Review, The South Florida Times and the website of Chef Marcus Samuelsson.
She learned the ins and outs of the newspaper industry as a journalist with Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers, and navigated college students through the history of mass media as an adjunct instructor at Indian River State College. Sheryl also developed Web content for the website of Palm Beach Atlantic University as well as provided content for social media, including photos and videos.
